Europe
Italy
Hiking, lakeside days or exploring towns?
The Dolomites suit a hiking trip. Around Lake Garda, you can combine time by the water with Verona. Tuscany offers a different route with towns, art and food. We'll discuss which trip you'd like to make.
Driving from the Netherlands? The outward and return journeys count towards your holiday. We look at the days you have left and how often you want to change accommodation. With a rooftop tent, setting up and packing away matter too.
Asia
Japan
Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, perhaps with time outside the cities.
You can spend days exploring city neighbourhoods, temples and food. If you'd like smaller places too, we can discuss Takayama or a stay with an onsen, a Japanese hot spring.
Trains are an option between cities. A rental car may work for a rural section. Transport, luggage and days in each place are part of our conversation.

Which countries would you like to visit?
You could combine the Croatian coast, Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. For a hiking trip, Kotor and Durmitor are another option. We allow for mountain roads, border crossings and driving days.

How will you divide your time between these three areas?
Antigua, Lake Atitlán and Tikal often appear on the same wish list. We choose a base around the lake and allow time for the journey north to Tikal before filling the days.

Combine the inland region with island time.
Around San Ignacio, explore forests, caves and Maya sites. Caye Caulker offers a different part of the trip: island days and outings on the water.
The connection through Belize City and the boat to the island need time. If you're combining Belize with Guatemala, we also allow for that transfer and your flight home.
Arabian Peninsula

Your route also affects the car you need.
From Muscat, head inland via Nizwa. Sharqiyah Sands could be the next stop, followed by Sur and the east coast. A mountain region may fit too, depending on your available days.
For mountain roads and desert stays, we discuss transport: what your rental car allows and what your accommodation can arrange. Your travel month matters too.

La Gomera
A walking holiday from one or a few bases.
Garajonay offers laurel forests and walks; Valle Gran Rey is on the coast. Roads between them are winding, with changes in elevation. We consider your walks and accommodation together, including arrival by ferry or flight.

Hikes, a city visit and days by the sea.
Combine La Laguna, walks in Anaga and the landscapes around Teide with coastal days. Your accommodation location affects the drives.
